Those of you who have hired a car for your holiday are probably used to selecting the car based on the number of passengers, how much luggage you can haul around with you and one that is within budget. It’s very unlikely that you would of considered what the 0-60 time is or how much torque and horsepower the car has. For some, these details are far more important than passenger numbers and luggage, and if they have the funds to pay for something as exotic as a supercar, they are well catered for. The likes of Hertz, Avis and Sixt in the past few years have introduced supercars and prestige cars to their fleet, and in this post we’re going to take a look at what’s on offer.

Hertz also have a selection of sports cars including the Porsche Boxer and a Rang Rover Vogue listed under their supercar category however, the only car we would consider to be a supercar is the Porsche 911 977 Carrera S. Sorry Avis, a Rang Rover Vogue is not a supercar.
